I am trying to use the Remote perf counter, the activeX version on a web
page for monitoring my internet exposed web servers from remote. Here are my
questions:

1. Are there any security risks involved in doing that and if so how great.
2. What port number needs to be opened on my firewall so I can add remote
counters (I know you have to have remote registry service running).
3. Is there another way of doing this without the purchase of additional
software?

I appreciate any and al help you can provide on this matter.

Thank you for your time,

Chad Austin
