I have tested the Software Update Service, it is very intuitive and
efficient for companies looking for a simple method of deployment without
implementing a full software distribution model. I am sure by now you are
all aware of my hotfix deployment concerns. The primary issue I have with
the Software Update Service is that it appears to run on Windows Update
technology.
While Software Update Services promises an efficient solution for small to
medium size networks, the SMS Value Pack is supposed to include the ability
to push out hotfixes based on the results of scheduled hfnetchk scans. Has
anyone been able to get there hands on a copy?

I believe that this is The Update Service Formerly Known As Corporate
Windows Update.
Anyone had a chance to look at it yet or plan to look at it? I think it'll
be interesting to see how this service compares to some of the third-party
apps that do this.
