Ad-Aware from www.lavasoft.de is probably a better route. Never trust the
uninstaller from a company who is trying to take over your computer in the
first place! Ad-Aware competely removes LOP and allother spyware.
Invaluable tool.

Forgive my rant, but lop.com is an absolute cancer to get rid of
manually. They do, however have an uninstall program on their website
in case you are not fond of their 'services'.
Check out http://lop.com/help.html for the necessary info/tools to
remove the toolbar etc...
I had to remove this from a friend's pc, and to this day I am unsure
of exactly how much is still left. He wasn't sure how it got there, but
he didn't remember installing any software (as is their claim on their
website), but that doesn't mean it was installed without his consent.
