On a personal side note..this is VERY bad habit.
Lets see:
a) you block all incoming ping requests
b) you want to be able to ping other ppl
Now lets say we all live by your rational.
a) I block all incoming ping requests
b) We all block incoming ping requests
c) Nobody can ping and a wonderful tool is broke.
Also, I dont' remember the exact rfc..but I believe responding to a ping
is REQUIRED (though nobody seems to care).
Don't cut off a tool and expect others to provide it to you though since
you yourself don't allow the service. I scratch your back, you scratch
mine OR in this case..you screw me..i screw you.
