Let me add a question to that. While cached user profiles may be
removed, what remnants of the domain group policy remain effective?
Typically a domain policy overrides the local policy and makes changes
to the registry (eg. Internet Explorer security zones). These settings
are not rolled back afaik, so that begs the question, what remains? Are
all domain settings retained? Besides obvious settings (like IE zones),
what domain specific information is retained?

Regard,
Frank
