Steve,

If the PC's are connected to a network, you could use this reg entry to
require that they login...

HKLM\Network\Logon\MustBeValidated 0x1 (DWORD)

We used it awhile back when our cleaning crew started spending all of their
time surfing the net on our Win9x boxes.

Subject: Win 98 Security

Hi,

A couple a years back I remember a security package/update where one
could have basic "NT" like security and logins under Win98, e.g it
wasn't jsut enough to hit the Escape key to get to a Desktop. Can anyone
on the list remember weither that was a native Microsoft product or a
third party one? And also what it was called.

Thanks in advance...

chrs steve
