I am in the process of reading "The Definitive Guide ot Windows 2000
Security". I came across an interesting piece of information that I hadn't
heard before. If you create a local group policy and apply it to a windows
2000 machine then add the machine to a NT4 domain the local policy is
nolonger applied.
So what suggestions do people have for securing a window 2K box that is part
of windows NT 4 domain?
My best guess at the moment would eb to go back and set all the registry
settings manually the way I do it on NT4. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Ian
