Okay- one day I managed to stumble across the European website
http://www.lop.com.
I know now that they are, somehow, now my proxy because of 2 reasons-
1. Entries in my personal DNS server do not immediately propagate on this
machine, whereas they do on the others,
2. Entries in my local hosts file are also ignored.
I've tried un installing and reinstalling IE6, but it
(http://www.lop.com/dnserror.cgi?s) is still there. Nor can I find anything
in the registry concerning it.
Lastly, I've also tried contacting the company- and they ignored my emails.
Any suggestions on how to remove this unapproved feature?
Any help would be wonderful, I've been toiling over this for a while now.
