Hello to all,
On the mobile pc in my company (NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP), I don't want
to give users administrator, or too much powerful user for the
pc, I want them with the minimum permission to effectively work.
I want users to allways log to the corporate windows domain
(w2k), also when offline (with cached credential).
Here is the problem:
With this permission users can't create new dial-up connection
and I need them to be able to do it. What should I do to permit
them to create dial up? Can it be done on the security policy of
the domain?
Can permitting to the user to create/change a dial-up connection,
a security problem?
Pointer to documents about user permission customization in a
win2k domain, with win NT 4.0, 2000, XP as client are REALLY
WELCOMED!! Real word experience of user client hardening (MS
NT/2k) would great.
Thanks in advance and best Regards,
MaX
