My work has a solaris box, its quad 400 mhz box with 4 gigs memory,
about 1 TB hd raid 5, with 4 mb cache on each processor. I have a little
more then 100 users using PC NetLink emulating a nt domain, The users mainly
use file sharing, the users have roaming profiles with drives mapped to the
PC Netlink box to share files.. The problem is that this beast of a box is
maxing at 100% cpu almost all the time, it has only 100 users and is
supposed to hold up to 2000. The reason i'm sending this to focus-linux and
focus-ms is becuase its a solaris box emulating an NT domain. Anyone know of
any reasons why this would be happening?
