It seems to be about that time...

I've also had some people asking why their posts were rejected (in October
about 300 messages were approved, approximately 200 rejected). There are
a few reasons for messages not being approved to the list. Here are the
most common reasons:
1. Off-topic - not related to security or not related to Microsoft
security. See the FAQ for appropriate content.
2. Recently discussed - the question asked has recently been discussed on
the list (within the last two or three months). See the list archives.

3. Not adding anything to the discussion - this is typically when someone
asks a question and five other people reply with "Me too!"
4. Posting something that someone else has already posted - usually this
is first come, first served. If someone posts a link to an article,
utility, tool, website that someone else has just posted...well, I'm not
really going to post two links to the same thing.
5. Rudeness - I will not approve any messages to this list which I
consider to be rude, spiteful, snotty, etc. Just because you know
something that someone else does not, it doesn't give you the right to
demean them. If you wouldn't say it to their face, then don't say it to
them from a keyboard and across an Internet connection. Keep a civil
tongue in your head (or fingers on your keyboard) or find another list to
post to.
