Well, there are programs you can purchase that can smooth all of this out
for you but, if you work in the kind of place where everyone tells everyone
else their password, management will consider the concept of buying software
to manage passwords to be utterly bizarre.
Short of that, you can do it this way.
Tell your users that they will all have to change their networking
password(s) on a specific day-say 11/1. Set the user's Netware passwords to
expire four or five hours before opening time on 11/1. On 10/31, a few hours
after everyone is gone, set their NT user profiles to require them to change
their passwords on the next login.
When they come in, they will have to change both at the same time.
Although other manners may seem easier, this can be done with minimal
preparation.
Of course, changing two passwords at the same time will be far too complex
for them and will generate call after call and make your life a living hell.
You may want to consider running away with a circus.
I'm still waiting for the circus to come to town, myself.
