Greetings,

Slashdot recently posted an interesting article about patching Win2k
Data Center. Since this is primarily a custom distribution of Win2k,
the vendors, AFIK, are primarily responsible for releasing patches for
their client base. Now, granted, just about everything on Slashdot has
a <sarcarsm>Slight</sarcasm> lean that is decidedly in the opposite
direction from anything Microsoft-related, so I take everything I read
there about Microsoft products with a massive grain of salt. However, I
was wondering if anyone on this list could share their experiences with
how well the vendors are dealing with security threats and other patches
when it comes to Data Center? For those curious, here's the posting on
Slashdot below :

Thanks,
Ryan
