Hi there!

I recently did a Spam check on a few of our mail servers just to check if
any of them were open to abuse and according to
http://www.mail-abuse.org/tsi/ar-test.html a few of our exchange servers
seem to fail on test#17 I've configured the routing so it does not allow any
type of mail abuse but not matter what I search for on ms kb articles I cant
find anything relating to this.( see below ) Anyone have any experience or
comments about this?

I guess I should upgrade to sp4 for exchange boxes but according to MS sp4
cannot be un-installed and I'm a bit way about installing it on production
servers in case it fubars it. Also on the sp-4 download page
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/downloads/55/sp4dl_en.asp Microsoft
doesn't exactly specify whether you have to download all of the components
to install the sp as its quite a large sum of parts. Again any advice on
this would be good.

I'm always a little wary when installing sp's as the last time I did an
exchange sp I was damn glad I had a backup lets just say :)

( forgive if the above seems like cobbled together English its Monday and we
have no coffee )

Snip of mail-abuse #17 test

>>> rcpt to: <mail-abuse.org!nobody>
<<< 250 OK - Recipient <mail-abuse.org!nobody>
