NT works with Windows Update as well. However, the last time I checked,
windows update was behind on 7 or 8 hot fixes for NT and 2k and it didn't
have any other support for other apps, such as IIS, Exchange, SQL, etc.
UpdateExpert is great, however - my point was that MS should have a similar
tool to perform tasks, as does Redhat Linux. Why should we have to spend
more money to effectively id & patch the problems that we have purchased
with the product? Evidently, there isn't any guarantee of workmanship when
it comes to MS's products and a manual hot fix is the cheapest thing they
can do to repair the issue. $$$
Kudos to those companies that identify such weakness and profit on them.

Windows 98 & 2000 have "Windows Update," which is very similar in function
to up2date. Also, St. Bernard Software makes an awesome utility called
UpdateEXPERT which helps a ton with Windows, IIS, SQL, Exchange, IE, etc.
updates & service packs.
