I know that this is a newbie question, but maybe somebody can give me some
kind of suggestion.
I've been through Microsoft's site looking for all patches for NT Terminal
Server, and have come up empty. The last patch I can see is TSE 6, which
they say is based upon SP6a. I know that there have been several hotfixes
for NT since 6a, including the huge rollout patch Q29944. Once I downloaded
and tried to install the patch, I received an error message which said that
this patch was not for TSE and could not install.
I then checked Windows update and it listed 20+ megs of patches for my
server, one of which is Q29944.
My question is twofold.
1) am I to believe that there are no more patches for my server even though
the last patch was based on a patch which has had several hotfixes released
since its debut?
2) Is it completely insane to let windows update run rampant on my server (I
am inclined to say yes, but hey, what do I know)?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
