    Hi Jennifer,
    Some quick googling found this IRC thread, it was samba/ldap related,
    but contained the exact same error. A skim it pointing to something with
    the ldap libraries, are you using the latest stable version? Anything
    showing up in the debug.log? (thats where my ldap logs to rather then
    syslog). Are you running against the latest BerkleyDB release?
