martian errors are generated when anyone is trying to connect
to you from the internet with private_range_of_ip_addresses !
which is .. packets impossible to route :-) are labelled as Martian
1. eg .. message coming from internet with 10.0.0.2
2 eg.. message from 192.168.0.1 from internet
In your case ...
CASE 1. ::: martian source 169.254.207.9 from 169.254.207.9
-----------------------------------------------------------------
the source and dest is the same , why it ever reached the router ??
CASE 2 ::: martian source 255.255.255.255 from169.254.207.9
-------------------------------------------------------------------
255.255.255.255 is invalid and not routable ... !!
~~ broadcast domain ~~ .... does that ring any bell ;-)
hope this helps ...
