You don't need 1.3.26 so long as the patch was backported to the version you
use. In the Red Hat world we're still on 1.3.23, but the latest RPM includes
a patch for the chunky exploit. It appears that SuSE has done the same.

Check the above and make sure that for your version of SuSE you have the
version of apache listed (or newer.)
