The firewall component of the Bastille hardening script works fine for
a PPP connection. It hooks into the network startup scripts, so the
wall comes up when the interface comes up. Find it on Sourceforge. I
run it on top of a minimal RedHat 6.1 setup on an old P133 that cost me
about $100.
