IDS Policy Manager 1.7.0 Released

    I am pleased to announce the release of IDS Policy Manager 1.7.0 for Windows
    2000/XP.

    This new release of IDS Policy Manager adds a few nice new features. Now,
    when uploading, it will upload the rules into multiple directories. i.e. if
    you have the snort.conf in one directory and rules files in another. Also,
    Bleeding Snort rules are now automatically checked when you open a policy!
    To enable this, edit the policy options and check the box to enable Bleeding
    Snort checking. Enjoy the new features!

    The changes include:

    Added - IDSPM now uploads to multiple directories
    Added - Option to Check for new Bleeding Snort rules when loading Policy
    Added - Quick check Bleeding Snort rules
    Added - When click on a group in the policy editor, it now shows the # of
    active rules
    Added - Updated documentation
    Added - Merge rules that are on multiple lines
