One thing to to also consider is Intrushield's longterm outlook under
Network Associates/McAfee. they have a track record of buying up good
products and technology and then letting them die on the vine.
Another option to potentially look at would be NetScreen IDP. It is
extremely powerful, but under its current incarnation it is not as
elegent at Tippingpoint or Intrushield. I think any of the three
products would be fall under "best of breed".
