    Hi,
     
    Thank you for the very precise definitions of the
    requirements for IDS systems. Could you elaborate on
    some additional functions that IDS systems use or
    would benefit from. Such as protocol analyses, more
    efficient means of application detection other than
    the traditional signature matching techniques. IP
    fragmentation and reassembly abilities. Essentially
    any functions or features that should be implemented
    or that are currently available. Feedback would be
    greatly appretiated. Thanks
