I have been using SourceFire box for more than a year now and I would say
it's worth implementing. You get a snort optimized box with added features.
Its new web interface is really neat. Lets you manage the box easily. You
just have to tune the box according to your network and let it rock. The
OPSEC support is really helpful. You can integrate the box with Checkpoint
firewall and configure the rules to be blocked at the firewall.
The support has always been great. I don't have any bad experience until
now.

Faiz

Subject: Sourcefire IDS?
Hi there-
I am currently evaluating SourceFire IDS.
Does anyone have any good/bad experiences running
their IDS solution?
Any feedback about using the product, managing false
positives, SourceFire Support, etc would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks!!
Kip
