    Trying to collect some ideas here...

    What do you all consider to be the best open source/freeware tools for
    Windows in the following areas?

    Firewalls
    IDS
    Log collection/archiving
    File monitoring (like tripwire)
    Honeypots
    Etc...

    Your thoughts and comments are most appreciated.
