hi there
i am a grad student and want to testing nids rule
based in my school network.i would like to have the
methodology for testing and the tool or attack that
suitable use for testing my nids.please give me
information or the resources for getting the
information.

anyone who has play around with a tarball attack
script from sourceforge.net? i have download and run
it on windows with active perl but the script display
error occur.so what can i do?i want to test the snort
performance in detecting attack.is it relevant to use
the script?please help me.thank you for your concern.
