Sorry to everyone for confusing this.

I was looking the benchmark comparisons with ACID and the different
databases, I read the chart WAY off (must be my Monday?).

We're going to just use MySQL instead. I have read that PostgreSQL has
better security in how they handle tables etc (I'm no DBA I just read this
is all). However, the performance of MySQL over PostgreSQL is very
noticeable.

Thanks for everyone's help, and sorry if I wasted anyones time.
