Hi,
This is regd the netprowler (NIDS tool).In my network i installed
netprowler.i configured every thing as per the document. I enabled the
agent.but it's not showing any attacks. Tell me when it show the alert. I
tried port scan, win nuke,i gave wrong passwords for shares. But it's not
showing any alerts or attacks. I configured the agent to monitor 5 systems.
i made the above said attacks on those 5 systems. for the database settings,
I gave the default(mysql). it's allowing me to change the password . So it
means that database is proper. I tried to configure Sqlserver. But it's not
accepting.
can u tell me where i am going wrong.
can u help me. It's really urgent.
