Ever-helpful focusIDS list users,

Anyone played around with the Webshield e500 appliance by McAfee? I recently
received a sales probe that claimed that the product actually managed to
defeat CodeRed, meaning to me that since it's an appliance it's effectively
some kind of HTTP & email scanning and TCP-sequence RST spoofin' NIDS. I've
never heard of it it before, and a quick google dig came up with no reviews
of the product. Anyone checked it out?

Thanks as always,

Rob
