    VULNERABILITY SUMMARY
    A potential security vulnerability has been identified with HP-UX
    running Mozilla, where the vulnerability could be exploited to
    allow a remote, unauthorized user to execute privileged code or to
    create a Denial of Service (DoS).

    SUPPORTED SOFTWARE VERSIONS*: ONLY impacted versions are listed.
    HP-UX B.11.00, B.11.11, B.11.22, B.11.23 running Mozilla 1.7.11
    and previous.

    BACKGROUND

     ->Mozilla for HP-UX version 1.7.12.01 is now available,
    addressing the following:
    MFSA 2005-57 IDN heap overrun using soft-hyphens

     ->HP-UX Mozilla 1.7.12.01 also addresses all the potential
    vulnerabilities resolved by Mozilla 1.7.12 and previous.

    To determine if an HP-UX system has an affected version,
    search the output of "swlist -a revision -l fileset"
    for one of the filesets listed below. For affected systems
    verify that the recommended action has been taken.

    - ->HP has made Mozilla version 1.7.12.01 available to resolve the
     potential vulnerabilities. It can be downloaded from
    http://www.hp.com/go/mozilla.

     ->NOTE: Customers who installed the preliminary version of 1.7.12
             from Mozilla.org should install Mozilla 1.7.12.01 as
             described above. The preliminary version was discussed in
             Update 1 of this Security Bulletin.
