Converting privatekey SSH2 --> OpenSSH ... 'Bad magic'
When I'm trying to convert a private key in the SSH2
format (created by F-Secure SSH) to OpenSSH, I'm
getting the following error :
bad magic 0x30820277 != 0x3f6ff9eb
decode blob failed.
Does anyone have a clue what is causing this?
Procedure I'm using (should be fine) :
* Creating passphrase-less private key on server A
with F-Secure 5.0.3
ssh-keygen2 -t rsa -b 1024 -P <file>
* Importing same key on server B with OpenSSH 4.3p2
ssh-keygen -i -f <file>
Hopefully anyone can shine some light in this darkness
