Re: SFTP Error

Normally it's exactly what the error says:

"Most likely the sftp-server is not in the path of the user on the server-side."

The F-Secure SSH Client first makes a standard SSH connection to the
server and then attempts to start the sftp-server with the user
credentials you entered in the sftp client app.
The easiest way to test this is to make a normal ssh terminal
connection, then as the same user run the following command:

type sftp-server

If your SSH Server is on a windows box then run the "path" command
from the command prompt and check that the F-Secure path is there.

Nathan

I'm using :

F-Secure SSH Client 5.3 build 23 and F-Secure SSH File Transfer
It works fine when I use the SSH Client. But, when I'm using sftp,
it
displays :

File transfer server could not be started or it exited unexpectedly.

Exit value 0 was returned. Most likely the sftp-server is not in the
path of
the user on the server-side.

What can be happening ?
