You might not have your KeepAlive variable set within your sshd daemon server configuration file.
Look for a file called "/etc/ssh/sshd_config", and the variable called "TCPKeepAlive" or "KeepAlive" (depending on which version of OpenSSh or SSH you have running). If they're not set, set them within that file. The parameter should be:
KeepAlive Yes
Or something similar. Check your documentation for the correct variable name -- it varies slightly between versions and types of sshd daemon server cofigs.

Subject: get disconnected
Hi,
I am using three computers (say 1, 2 and 3) all
running RHEL 3. I connect 2 and 3 from 1 using SSH.
But after few minutes and sometimes after few hours
(the time is random) 3 gets disconnected while 2
remains ok.
What could be the resone for this?
Thank you very much for your help.
Manoj
