Hello Everybody,
Please excuse me if I sound extremely stupid, I am new to the world of
open source, embedded systems development, XNIX, etc. and I am starting
with porting OpenSSH to Nucleus RTOS. I have been going through some of
the emails archived on this and found that there have been some
successful attempts of this porting work. I am trying to find a starting
point: what environment to work on, what tools would I need, what's
already been done etc.
I am told that I should start by compiling the Portable OpenSSH 4.2p1.
To do that, what compiler should I start with? Should I be needing a
XNIX machine for this development effort or can I manage with a Windows
machine with cygwin or something like that?
I would highly appreciate if someone responds to this and helps me sail
through these initial problems.
Thanks,
Srinath.
