Hey folks,
A collegue and I have created an install package for Windows 2000/2003
platforms that automates the installation and configuration of Cygwin +
OpenSSH 3.7.1 + Keys + Admin Privs necessary to do key-based connection from
Unix into Windows servers in a minimal amount of time.
We believe that after you install the MSI, all you need to do is put your
UNIX 'root' SSH key in C:\ssh\home\root\.ssh\authorized_keys and you should
be able to do key-based authentication immediately.
I would appreciate if you on this list would download and check it out...
Kick the tires if you will. We're working on documentation on what this
package actually "does" to your system, including registry keys set,
permissions changed, but unfortunately, that isn't done yet.
We've installed and de-installed this on hundreds of multiple environments
without issues, but I can't guarantee that it won't do something weird on
your configuration, so it's always best if you backup your configuration
prior to installing this package.
Package can be retrieved from http://www.scottc.org
Download Directly here:

Please send comments to openssh@scottc.org
Thanks!
