For 3.7x and 3.8x, yes. This will be changed [1] in the upcoming
(soon!) 3.9x release. It's already in the snapshots [2], so please try
it (and report any problems to openssh-unix-dev@mindrot.org).
Also, it appears that some vendors have backported those changes to
their 3.8x packages.
