Hi Alex,
Putty has very light weight client applications for windows. In this
case you could use psftp.exe to run an sftp like session. See:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html
I use Putty for all my ssh tunneling and file transfers through the
internet and Cygwin or Linux at the ssh server end.
enjoy,
John Wheeler

Subject: Secure FTP client ONLY?
Hello openSSH guru's,
Because of limited memory constraints and because only client
operations are needed, i was wondering whether the secure FTP
(ssh ftp) Client portion of the openSSH product can easily be
decoupled from the rest of the source?
I'm just beginning to attempt in becoming familiar with the source
and functionality.
Any incite and/or recommendations with regards to the feasibility
of decoupling the sftp client is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
