I use SSH Secure Shell (non-commercial) workstation for windows to upload
    files to a Unix server.

I often make new directories by using the icon for new folder in the ftp
window. I cannot, though, seem to control the permissions for these
directories. Any idea on how to set my preference for permissions so that
I don't have to change the permissions every time I make a new folder?

    Thanks,
    Elizabeth
