    Hi there!
I have a little bit of a problem with the getting files from a windows
system to a unix system and vice versa!
We are using the SFTP-Subsystem to transfer files from a to b.
We are running our server on linux, but the files are going directly to
a samba mount on a windows box.
They are comming from an AIX environment.
the problem we are currently facing, is the fact, the the files are
textfiles and the transmission seems to be set ASCII.
Does anybody know an option on either the client or the server to force
a a binarry transmission? (this has to be for OpenSSH). the version
    affected is:
    OpenSSH Client 3.4P1-1 on AIX

OpenSSH Server 3.5P1-1 on RedHat 7.3
Unfortunately I don't have any influence on the client, only on the
    server.
Does anyone have eny experience with this?

    thnx

    Marco
