         Is it possible for multiple clients to connect to a server with the same key.

    Should be okay. I've moved the private key for a user from one box to another without a problem. But I haven't tried concurrent connections using the same private key...

        How about changing the "user@host" in the public key to "*@*"?

    No idea on that one.
