Yes, this list certainly isn't the Linux Security faq-o-matic. This list
is intended to be for general security issues as they pertain to Linux,
including cryptography, firewalls & border patrol, research, and even
security trends.
What do people think of the recent influx of security vulnerabilities?
Does it seem like there is an abnormal amount of advisories issued
recently, including the gzip, xchat, glibc, at, sudo, among others? They
are all indeed very serious, prompting some to speculate on just how
secure (or insecure, as the case may be) Linux really is.
