PacketTrap TFTP Server Denial of Service
------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY

<http://www.packettrap.com/product/index.aspx> pt360 is "a suite of
network tools". A vulnerability in the way pt360's (PacketTrap) TFTP
server works allows remote attackers to cause it to become stuck by
uploading to it files with invalid filenames.

DETAILS

Vulnerable Systems:
* PacketTrap TFTP server version 2.0.3901.0

The TFTP server implemented in the pt360 suite can be easily crashed
through the uploading of files with invalid names. When this occurs an
exception is raised which blocks the TFTP component and forces the user to
restart the whole application for re-running it.
