      Acrowave AAP-3100AR Authentication Bypass
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

     <http://www.acrowave.com/> Acrowave's AAP-3100AR is "WLAN ADSL Router".

Flaws in authentication mechanism of Acrowave allows attackers to bypass
    the authentication mechanism.

    DETAILS

Martin Tornwall has found that it's possible to bypass the authentication
on the Acrowave AAP-3100AR wireless router. By telnet'ing to the device
and hitting CTRL+C at either the user name or password prompt, an attacker
can cause the shell to crash and when it is restarted by the server the
attacker is dropped to a prompt without needing to enter any username or
    password.
