      Weplan - WEP Testing Lab

Weplab is a tool that helps you review the security of WEP encryption in
wireless networks from an educational point of view. Several attacks are
available allowing you to measure the effectiveness and minimum
requirements of each one. The following features are available in this
    first alpha version.
     - Capture unique IV WEP encrypted packets from the wireless LAN
     - Brute force 64 bits or 128 bits keys
     - ASCII brute force 64 bits or 128 bits keys
     - Full weak keys attack (FMS) to both first and second bytes for 64 bits
    or 128 bits keys.

In the first tests the brute force reached 100,000 c/s on a P4 1.8Ghz. The
FMS attack gives positive results from 1,000,000 captured packets (normal,
not necessarily weak). The 128 bits key being tested was recovered with 1M
    packets, in 20 minutes.
