      ZoneMinder Query String Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

    SUMMARY

     <http://www.zoneminder.com/home.html> ZoneMinder is a "Linux based video
    camera security solution". An exploitable buffer overflow in the way
    ZoneMinder handles query strings allows a remote attacker to cause the
    product to execute arbitrary code.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable Systems:
     * ZoneMinder version 1.19.1 and prior

    Immune Systems:
     * ZoneMinder version 1.19.2 or newer

    The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of
    query strings. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a
    specially crafted query.
