Web Wiz Forum SQL Injection and Security Bypass
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

Alexander has reported some vulnerabilities in Web Wiz Forum, allowing
malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and perform certain
    administrative functions.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable Systems:
     * Web Wiz Forums versions 7.7 and prior

    1) Input passed to the "laryCheckedIPAddrID" parameter in the
"pop_up_ip_blocking.asp" script isn't properly verified before it is used
in an SQL query. This can be exploited by malicious people to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

    2) A logic error in "pop_up_topic_admin.asp" allows malicious people to
    manipulate topic status without authentication.

    3) A logic error in "pop_up_ip_blocking.asp" allows malicious people to
block arbitrary IP addresses without authentication.
