      ChatterBox Denial of Service
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

     <http://www.ipob.net/burton/programs/chatterbox.html> ChatterBox is "a
    multiple client, single server graphical chat program written in Java
    using Swing. Some basic features include sending private messages, kicking
    users (server only), and obtaining IP information on users (server only).
    It runs on any operating system supporting Java 1.3". A vulnerability in
    the product allows remote attackers to cause a Denial of Service attack
    against the product.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable Systems:
     * ChatterBox version 2.0

    Due to a vulnerability in ChatterBox, irregular requests received by it
    will cause it to crash.
