      FreeChat DoS Vulnerability
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    SUMMARY

    " <http://sourceforge.net/projects/vbfreechat/> FreeChat is a webserver
    with support for a browser based streaming chat written in Visual Basic 6.
    The chat so far supports multiple rooms (public/private), graphical
    emicons, whispering, multiple languages and more."

    A denial of service vulnerability has been found in FreeChat. A crafted
    string can crash the server.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable Systems:
     * FreeChat version 1.1.1a

    Sending a crafted string directly to the server, such as the following:
    "aaaaa"

    Will cause the server to crash immediately.
