      Ben's Guestbook Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability

    SUMMARY

     <http://bjbarnett.t35.com/guestbook.php> Ben's guestbook is "a simple
    guestbook that allows your visitors to leave the persons name, email, and
    comments that they would like to add. This guestbook does not use MySQL so
    it will work if you don't have MySQL". A vulnerability in the product
    allows remote attackers to inject HTML and/or JavaScript into pages showed
    to arbitrary users.

    DETAILS

    Vulnerable systems:
     * Ben's Guestbook version 1.0

    The first version of this PHP guestbook, suffers from a cross site
    scripting vulnerability, which can be resolved by filtering the "comments"
    field.

    Vendor status:
    The vendor has been contact, no news of a patch as of now.
